Brief Job Description:
This position provides administrative support to the CPS Regional Operations Support Administrator, CPS Administration and CPS program by serving as a liaison to regional and state operations. The position interacts routinely with DFPS staff, including executive management and the general public.
Essential Job Functions:
Answers and screens telephone inquiries, takes and routes messages and provides program and agency information and/or make referrals to other community resources
Maintains office equipment, supplies and acts as receptionist
Coordinates and maintains files and statistical report tracking systems with strong attention to sensitive and confidential information
Prepares, edits and distributes correspondence and reports. Assists in compiling and analyzing data for reports.
Prepares and maintains leave and personnel records based on DFPS procedures
Opens and distributes mail. Sends and receives fax documents and makes copies of required documents
Performs other duties as assigned and required to maintain unit operations
Promotes and demonstrates appropriate respect for cultural diversity among coworkers and all work-related contacts
Attends work regularly in accordance with agency leave policy.
